Duncan was a black labrador retriever. We got Duncan because we missed our dogs from Connecticut that we had to give away. We picked up Duncan from a shelter in San Clemente - he was a GREAT dog, VERY mellow, he was just TOO BIG for our small house (we already have three crazy toddlers running around). After four days we did the right thing and returned him to the shelter :(
